The Vietnamese Alliance to Combat Trafficking (VietACT) is a grassroots organization dedicated to eradicating human trafficking of Vietnamese victims through collaboration, advocacy, and education, for the purpose of supporting, protecting and empowering victims.
About VietACT International Internship Program
VietACT works both to raise awareness and maintain awareness of human trafficking, while initiating campaigns to influence public policy to bring out about systematic change. In furthering our mission, we initiated the VietACT International Internship Program (IIP) in the summer of 2006 as a means to provide an opportunity for undergraduates, graduates, recent graduates, and professionals to learn more about human trafficking while interning with TaiwanACT at the Vietnamese Migrant Workers and Brides Office (VMWBO) in Taoyuan, Taiwan.
Interns work directly with victims of human trafficking and assist VMWBO Staff at the office. The internship experience varies every year and is uniquely different for each individual. Our program is for those with a strong commitment and passion to fight human trafficking. If you want to be a part of the change, then we want YOU. Please visit http://www.vietact.org/ for more information.
